.if you want to pay then i would get kapersky.if you dont then avast 4.8 home edition is good.they also have a pay version as does avg.keep in mind that you can only run one anti-virus at a time otherwise they will fight each other

I have the “free” Spybot 152 Search & Destroy installed. ..and I have no problem with it. There are facilities to update within it…..and the support is great..as everytime I send an email with any problem..I get a swift response. It is quite amazing ….for a free anti malware/virus software. Added to this when my Hard drive crashed on me and I had to install another all I had to do is to install this program again via my (already) burnt Spybot program (which I did). It only took me some 10 or 15 minutes to install it.

I recently purchased a laptop. My mom is my computer guru. She set me up with Mcafee anti virus, spybot search and destroy, and adaware. I run all three of these and I am very happy with them. Best of all, they were FREE. The net had alot of free downloads in this area. You don’t have to go out and spend loads of money on the actual software.

You can’t beat this price………

FREE !!!!

Computer Maintenance

Advanced WindowsCare V2 Personal

Spybot S&D

Ad Aware 2007

Avira AntiVir® PersonalEdition Classic….

I’ve been using them all for over a year now.

They are all compatible with each other and Windows XP and Vista as well as older versions of Windows.

You will have a trouble free, clean, green, mean machine.

Symantec Antivirus Corporate 10
(NOT to be confused with sucky Norton Antivirus)

You really don’t need an antivirus if you have good sense: don’t open email from people you don’t know or foolish people, don’t go to questionable websites, and certainly don’t run in an adminstrator’s context in windows.

Get KasperSky which is the best antivirus and anti-spyware in the market. Or if u don’t know much knowledge about those stuff get Norton 360 2.0 it is very easy to use and fast.
